S imple, yet sensational, is what I think about lavender. It is agreeable enough that it can be grown in either a full-fledged garden, or a basic container. In addition, it happens to be extremely resistant to drought, or those of us who sometimes forget to water regularly. Plus, they are able to endure encounters with those pesky, but adorable snacking rabbits and deer. As for appearance, the foliage is quite lovely, the flowers are delightful, and that scent, oh my goodness that scent is divine.
